When you visit, we recommend that you plan on spending at least one hour at the museum. Tours for individuals and groups are available and you can find all the necessary details within these pages, including hours, directions, admission fees, etc. Parking is free and available in front of the museum and along Victoria Terrace.
When you arrive, you will be introduced to the school car by a knowledgeable tour guide, you can walk through the classroom and living quarters, and you can view historical video footage and documentary film segments. Childrens' activities from both the past and present are also available.
There are many artifacts and photos to browse through - in fact, there are so many interesting items in the school car, that you may find that one visit is just not enough to take it all in. We would be happy to welcome you back at ay time!
You are also welcome to bring along a picnic lunch and relax by taking a stroll through Sloman Memorial Park, situated along the beautiful Bayfield River. Should you wish to enjoy a meal in the town of Clinton, the museum staff can recommend several options.
A toilet facility is available at the park.
